Emma from Tesco came to talk about how fruit and vegetables make us healthy. The Full Moons learnt that they should try and eat 5 pieces of fruit or vegetables each day. They also learnt how they help to stop us not getting colds, help our eyes and help us build muscles. The children tried different types of vegetables and fruit including, apples, strawberries, carrots, spinach, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries. They looked, felt and smelt an aubergine, potato, coconut (they shook it to hear the milk), kiwi, oranges, pineapple, garlic, pomegranate and ginger.
