We hope everyone is in high sprits for this year, we are continuing to be positive and hope we can get back to a bit of normality soon!

We have been very busy improving our rooms, we cannot wait to invite you all back to see the changes. The Baby room has recently had a selection of new Baby resources and a wooden partition so we can support our children’s next steps in smaller groups and have a selection of different activities for our younger Moons and older Moons of the room.

The Mini Moons and directors have now made a lovely cosy area with curtains for their children to have a snuggle down for sleep time.

We are awaiting a date (coming soon) for the new branding which includes new signs and featured wallpaper walls in each room which will give all the rooms a theme-

Baby Moons- Farm
Mini Moons- Seaside theme
Full Moons-Jungle
Communications Room- Town Theme

The girls have already made display boards to match with the rooms theme! We are very excited 😊

Many staff have been recognised for their hard work and dedication over the last few months. This month of February we have recognised our Apprentice Tia, she has been outstanding with the children and always willing to help and support others, well done Tia! The team have been receiving £20 Amazon vouchers.

We are very excited to welcome new Baby Moons to our family and many more to join over the next few months. We are currently looking for 2 more candidates to join our team, we have already interviewed some lovely candidates, once we have decided, we will update you.

The staff have been working amazingly in their rooms, if that was not enough, they have also been busy completing online training courses to refresh themselves-

Refresh on Safeguarding
Outdoor Provisions
Outstanding Practices
FGM and Prevent Duty
Equality and Diversity

The Full Moons have a very important job in April they will be taking care of ducklings for ten days! They will learn how to look after them from being in the incubator to when they are hatched. The Baby Moons and Mini Moons will get a turn to see them too, so they don’t miss out!

We are looking to create a loose parts section in each of our rooms, if you have any of the following please let us know.

We are hoping to develop our garden areas in the Spring/Summertime with the wooden climbing wall, tunnel and new grass area. We would also like to create a mud kitchen/wildflower area too.

We hope that the First aid course has helped support you with basic First aid at home with your children. We will be looking at other parent workshops for you, so if you have any ideas, we would love to hear from you.

If you have not had the opportunity to review us yet we would really appreciate it this, either on Day Nurseries or google.
